Past Presidents Meeting
All HBAGK Past Presidents and Executive Committee members are invited. This is the first meeting since last year and there is a lot of activity happening at the HBA. A few of the topics for discussion:
- HBA name change to HBA of East TN; it passed at HBAT Summer meeting and needs approval at NAHB Fall Leadership Meeting in Detroit, October 8
- Kyle Ward is our incoming 2027 President and will be installed at a combined event on December 3 at the Press Room that will include our Holiday Celebration with toy drive for Toys for Tots along with the Annual Meeting, Installation & Awards Banquet.
- We can discuss award nominees for Builder, Associate, and PWB Members of the Year
- Leadership ladder - nominations for new Directors and Secretary/Treasurer were emailed on 8/5/26 and the deadline for submissions is Friday, 8/21/26. Official elections will take place soon after.
- Refocus on governmental affairs and relationships with elected officials
If you have items to discuss please submit them in advance so we can place them on the agenda and prepare if necessary.
Lunch will not be available at this meeting.
