All HBAGK Past Presidents and Executive Committee members are invited. This is the first meeting since last year and there is a lot of activity happening at the HBA. A few of the topics for discussion:

• HBA name change to HBA of East TN; it passed at HBAT Summer meeting and needs approval at NAHB Fall Leadership Meeting in Detroit, October 8
• Kyle Ward is our incoming 2027 President and will be installed at a combined event on December 3 at the Press Room that will include our Holiday Celebration with toy drive for Toys for Tots along with the Annual Meeting, Installation & Awards Banquet.
  • We can discuss award nominees for Builder, Associate, and PWB Members of the Year
• Leadership ladder - nominations for new Directors and Secretary/Treasurer were emailed on 8/5/26 and the deadline for submissions is Friday, 8/21/26. Official elections will take place soon after.
• Refocus on governmental affairs and relationships with elected officials
